MOORESTOWN TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Moorestown Township recently closed on a $12,561,168 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to Rehabilitate and upgrade the existing 2.016 MGD water treatment plant. The scope of work includes the installation of induced draft aerators to facilitate the removal of carbon dioxide from the raw water and allow both iron and manganese to oxidize for easier removal. Solids contact clarifiers will be installed to remove iron, and greensand pressure filters will remove iron and manganese. In addition, a new 5,720 square foot building will be constructed to house the new equipment.
