HAMILTON TOWNSHIP LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Hamilton Township recently closed on a $2,563,974 loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace components at its Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). A rotating biological contactor (RBC) is a type of biological wastewater treatment system that uses a series of rotating discs to support microbial growth and promote the removal of pollutants from wastewater. The project entails the replacement of six RBCs that have failed and are no longer operable. The proposed RBC replacement will restore the intended design capacity without site disturbance or new structures.
