EAST ORANGE CITY WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

East Orange City recently closed on a $1,867,413 loan with the NJ Water Bank to increase the efficiency of its water distribution system. The city proposes to replace its water main and service connection which is necessary to improve water pressure for health and human safety throughout the drinking water system. In addition, the city plans to disinfect the White Oak Ridge Pump Station, replace its generator, and convert from the use of chloride to sodium hypochlorite.
