NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Brielle Borough MUA recently closed on a $1,677,600 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to Rehabilitate the Borough's 500,000-gallon steel ground water storage tank at the Union Lane water plant. The existing chlorine gas disinfection system will be replaced with a calcium hypochlorite disinfection system at both the Old Bridge Road and Union Lane water plants. This project will optimize the Borough's potable water quality distribution.
