BRICK TOWNSHIP MUP 014 LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Brick Township MUA recently closed on a $2,092,402 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for a water main replacement. The existing water main within the project area is prone to breaks and susceptible to corrosion from the external soils. The project was planned in accordance with the Asset Management Plan and Capital Improvement Plan recommending the replacement of the water mains with 6- to 8-inch PVC mains to prevent corrosion and meet the public water utility standard for the reliable delivery of potable water. The project includes service connections, valve, fire hydrants and related appurtenances. This project will reduce non-revenue water and improve system resiliency.
