BRICK TOWNSHIP MUA 008 LOAN CLOSING

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Brick Township MUA recently closed on a $5,442,253 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank to replace undersized water mains in Cedar Park East and West.

The existing 2- to 3-inch water mains were installed in 1972 and will be replaced with 6- to 8-inch mains to meet the current NJDEP standards as well as the Residential Site Improvement Standards. The project includes installation of fittings and fire hydrants, as required. This project will also prevent emergency repairs on breaks due to the age of the existing pipes.
